Overview

Through the Fitbit App, users gain effortless access to their fitness data, encompassing vital metrics such as heart rates, steps taken, distance traveled, and calories burned. To enhance the experience for Premium subscribers and boost subscription rates, Fitbit aims to add new features to help users better understand and utilize their data, especially workout data, and provide tailored insights and advice accordingly.

Goal

  • To explore Fitbit users' motivations for subscribing Premium plan

  • To ideate a new feature of Fitbit Premium and increase subscription

  • To collect user feedback on the new feature for further iteration

  • Brainstormed and designed user interfaces through Figma

  • Conducted interviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders

  • Conducted usability tests and interviews with real Fitbit subscribers

Celebrate Fitbit Premium users' workout achievements?

Understand workout metrics

The United States Department of Health and Human Services (HSS) recommends the following physical activity guidelines for regular exercise:

150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity per week, or a combination of both, and strength training for all major muscle groups at least twice a week, to gain the maximum benefits from your exercise routine.

  2. Visualized concepts effectively to enhance understanding and clarity for others, facilitating smoother communication of ideas.

  3. Kept meticulous logs of daily accomplishments and practiced introspection to recognize strengths and areas needing enhancement, nurturing personal advancement and progress.
